AUSSIBLUE™

Aussiblue swazi (Digitaria didactyla syn D. swazilandensis) is the new generation turf grass for Queensland conditions which is now being sold commercially in
South-East Queensland. Aussiblue is a fine to medium leafed turf grass similar
in appearance to Queensland Blue Couch, displaying the same characteristic blue/green hue and softness of leaf. This variety is harder wearing as it maintains
a tighter mat of stolons, requires less water to maintain its spectacular appearance and responds rapidly to watering. Aussieblue possesses an exceptional ability
to outcompete weeds and is more resistant to the common lawn diseases.
This variety is proving very successful in both residential and commercial projects.
